Franklin Milhous was born on 4 November 1848 in Colerain, Belmont County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Joshua Vickers Milhous and Elizabeth Price Griffith.1 Franklin Milhous married Sarah Emily Armstrong on 14 August 1872.1 Franklin Milhous married Almira Park Burdg, daughter of Oliver Burdg and Jane M. Hemingway, on 16 April 1879 in Jennings County, Indiana.1 Franklin Milhous died on 2 February 1919 in Whittier, California, at age 70.1
He became a widower with the death of his wife, Sarah Emily Armstrong on 19 July 1877 at age 26.1 Franklin Milhous became the father of Hannah Milhous on 7 March 1885.1 Franklin's father Joshua Vickers Milhous died on 15 April 1893 in Bigger Twp., Jennings County, Indiana.1 Franklin's daughter was married at wedding of Hannah Milhous and Francis Anthony Nixon on 25 June 1908 in Whittier, California.1
