Benjamin Sherman was born in 1650 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of Philip Sherman and Sarah Odding.1 Benjamin Sherman married Hannah Mowry, daughter of Roger Mowry, on 3 December 1674 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.1 Benjamin Sherman died on 12 September 1719 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.2
