     Queen Magdalene (Sofie) (of Denmark) was born on 28 November 1700 in Oberfranken, Bavaria.1 She married King Christian VI (of Denmark & Norway) on 7 August 1721 in Pretzsch Elbe, Sachsen, Prussia.1 Queen Magdalene (Sofie) (of Denmark) died on 27 May 1770 at Christiansborg Castle, Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, at age 69.1 She was buried in Roskilde Domkirke, Roskilde, Roskilde Amt, Denmark.1
     She became the mother of King Frederik V (of Denmark & Norway) on 31 March 1723.1 Queen Magdalene (Sofie) (of Denmark) became the mother of Princess Louise (of Denmark & Norway) on 19 October 1726.1 Magdalene (Sofie)'s son was married at wedding of King Frederik V (of Denmark & Norway) and Princess Louisa Hanover on 11 December 1743 in Christiansborg, Copenhagen, Denmark.1,2 Queen Magdalene (Sofie) (of Denmark) became a widow with the death of her husband, King Christian VI (of Denmark & Norway) on 6 August 1746 in Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, at age 46.1 Magdalene (Sofie)'s son was married at wedding of King Frederik V (of Denmark & Norway) and Queen Juliane Marie (of Denmark) on 8 July 1752 in Frederiksborg, Denmark.1 Magdalene (Sofie)'s daughter Princess Louise (of Denmark & Norway) died on 8 August 1756 in Hildburghausen, Saxe-Hildburghausen, Thuringia.1 Magdalene (Sofie)'s son King Frederik V (of Denmark & Norway) died on 14 January 1766 at Christiansborg Castle, Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark.1
