     Emperor Lothaire I (of the Holy Roman Empire) was born in 795 in Altdorf, to, son of Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Ermengarde (Irmengarde) (of Hesbaye).1 Emperor Lothaire I (of the Holy Roman Empire) was the son of Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Ermengarde (Irmengarde) (of Hesbaye).1 Emperor Lothaire I (of the Holy Roman Empire) died on 29 September 855 in Pruem, Rheinland, Prussia.1 He was buried at St. Sauveur, France.1
     Lothaire I's mother Princess Ermengarde (Irmengarde) (of Hesbaye) died on 3 October 818 in Angers, Maine Et Loire, France.1 Emperor Lothaire I (of the Holy Roman Empire) became Holy Roman Emperor in 840 replacing Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire).2 Lothaire I's father Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire) died on 20 June 840 Near Ingelheim, Rhinehessen, Hesse.1 Emperor Lothaire I (of the Holy Roman Empire) was replaced as Holy Roman Emperor by Emperor Louis II (of the Holy Roman Empire) in 855.2
