Duke Friedrich Wilhelm (of Nassau-Weilburg) was born on 25 October 1768 in 's Gravenhage, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.¹ He was the son of Prince Karl Christian (of Nassau-Weilburg) and Princess Wilhelmine Karoline (of Nassau-Weilburg).¹ Duke Friedrich Wilhelm (of Nassau-Weilburg) was christened on 30 October 1768 in 's Gravenhage, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.¹ He married Isabelle (Luise) Burgravine (of Kirchberg) on 31 July 1788 in Hachenburg, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.¹ Duke Friedrich Wilhelm (of Nassau-Weilburg) died on 9 January 1816 in Weilburg, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia, at age 47.¹ He was buried in Weilburg, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.¹
