     Sofia Palaiologina, daughter of Thomas Palaiologos and Eikaterina Asanina Zachariaina, was born between 1448 and 1451 of Morea, Peloponnisos, Greece.1 Sofia Palaiologina was the daughter of Thomas Palaiologos and Eikaterina Asanina Zachariaina.1 Sofia Palaiologina married Grand Duke Ivan III 'The Great' (of Moscow), son of Grand Duke Vasilij II(III) 'The Blind' (of Moscow) and Princess Mariya Yaroslavna (of Borovsk), on 12 November 1472 in Morea, Peloponnesus, Greece.1 Sofia Palaiologina died on 7 April 1503.1
